  • Your picture is in the dictionary next to Overachiever. You’re the perfectionist who never feels good enough, the weary peacekeeper, and the family mediator. You care deeply about your loved ones, but sometimes you want to pull your hair out (or maybe their hair) from the effort of making everyone else happy. You are on the edge of burnout from taking care of others first, and really want to learn how to take care of yourself without feeling guilty for it.

  • I understand what it’s like to feel utterly overwhelmed by the problems in your life, to feel like you might drown in the tide of someone else’s needs and expectations. I want to help you with that. Clients who have benefitted most from working with me often describe themselves as the peacekeepers, mediators, or “fix-it” people within their circles.

  • I am passionate about helping you learn to balance taking care of yourself with caring for your loved ones.

  • I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Jenkintown, PA. I was recently certified in Dr. Karyl McBride’s 5-Step Recovery Model for Adult Children of Narcissists, and I am also pursuing advanced training in Internal Family Systems Theory.

  • I currently offer individual and group therapy for adults as well as individual therapy for teen girls. If you’re sick of being pulled in too many directions, feeling not good enough, and feeling guilty for wanting to take care of yourself, give me a call.

Missing Appointments & Cancellation Policy

It is important that you regularly attend your scheduled appointments. When there are missed sessions, it can cause a lapse in our work which may result in delayed progress. I understand that there may be extenuating circumstances and I can certainly make exceptions for them, but please understand that your appointment time is reserved for you and our work together. For these reasons, I request 24 hours notice for cancelled appointments in order to avoid a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee for less than 24 hours notice is the full cost of the session.
