Mindfulness for Stressed Kids Group

Ages 7-10

Mindfulness has an ever last long list of benefits for kids (and us too!). In a busy world, mindfulness gives the space to let kids (and us) just be in a world full of fast pace movement, technology and doing. This group benefits kids who feel anxious, have difficulty regulating emotions, struggle with paying attention, and more.

Brave Boys Group

Boys ages 5-7 & 8-11

From the moment boys are born they hear messages like: ‘Toughen up, son,’ ‘Boys don’t cry,’ and ‘Stop being so sensitive.’But the truth is:
your little boy is just as sensitive as your little girl.

We want to live in a society where we raise boys to know that being a man means being human and being human means being in touch with your emotions.

Changing Families Group

Ages 7-11

One of the main concerns of making the decision to separate and divorce is how it will impact your children’s life. Join Rebecca McDermott, LMFT for an 8-week course designed to give your child access to new skills to manage your divorce. Children will be in a supportive, non-judgmental setting with other kids in changing families. The group is a safe place for your child to talk about how they are feeling, learn new coping skills, and begin to integrate the divorce in their life.
