Hi! I’m Lindsay. I specialize in working with teens and adults struggling with stress management, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. In my work with clients, we explore negative thinking and how it impacts mood and behavior, learn healthy coping skills to help regulate and tolerate tough emotions, and build a strong sense of self that is empowered and capable of success. 



I understand what it’s like to feel utterly overwhelmed by the problems in your life, to feel like you might drown in the tide of someone else’s needs and expectations. I want to help you with that. Clients who have benefitted most from working with me often describe themselves as the peacekeepers, mediators, or “fix-it” people within their circles.

I am passionate about helping you learn to balance taking care of yourself with caring for your loved ones. I currently offer individual and group therapy for adults as well as individual therapy for teen girls. Have you ever felt like the “other?” I specialize in working with adults and adolescents ages 12 and up who have felt like the “other.”  At some point almost all of us have felt like we were different. Perhaps you may have experienced anxiety or depression, low self-esteem, are an artist or artistic type, are part of the LGBTQ community, are a person of color, or have felt rejected by your family or religious community. These can be traumatic experiences. I am here to help you navigate through these difficult experiences so that you can shine.

My style and personality is nurturing and supportive, yet very direct and truthful. It also has a healthy dash of humor and fun. I use a person-centered, creative, and holistic approach to meet your needs and accomplish your goals. Other modalities incorporated include CBT, a trauma-informed approach, mindfulness, Gestalt therapy, and underlining psychodynamic work.  As an active singer and songwriter, I am also on my own creative and personal journey. I am ready to share with you what I have learned!



Hi, I’m Cat. You've probably been to a therapist before, and it hasn't quite felt right. Or maybe you liked them, but felt disconnected from their approach. Felt that there was a way to work more deeply with your emotions, but your therapist wanted to talk about your thoughts, and give you homework. Felt really bogged down in the details, and the negative, of what's been going on in your life. Haven't really laughed.

In our work together, we will privilege the positive. We will laugh. (And likely cry, too.) We'll develop a relationship that will "undo the aloneness" that we feel when our emotions are held within for waaaay too long. Therapy is specifically tailored to the person who is sitting in front of me, and will look different for everyone. Above everything, you will be heard and seen.
