How I work

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches including CBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based, while tailoring sessions to fit each person’s unique needs and cultural background. I prioritize creating a safe, affirming space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore both challenges and strengths. My work is grounded in the belief that healing and growth happen through connection, and I see therapy as a partnership built on trust and authenticity. I draw from a person-centered and strengths-based approach, believing that clients are the experts of their own lives. I approach therapy with curiosity and compassion, working to build trust and meet each client where they are. Therapy will be a non-judgmental environment created to make you feel comfortable and confident to begin your journey to wellness.

Clients often describe me as authentic, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a space where people feel genuinely seen and heard. I approach therapy with curiosity and compassion, working to build trust and meet each client where they are. A session with me might look or feel like being truly heard and understood in addition to gentle challenges and alternative perspectives.

My Education & Trainings

I graduated with my Master’s of Arts and Educational specialist degree in School and Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University. Prior to that, I attended Hobart and William smith colleges where I obtained my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and Child Advocacy. I am a dedicated and compassionate clinician with eight years of comprehensive experience working with diverse populations in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, education, and community settings. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and School Counselor and also work within the Newton School District.

The relationship with your therapist is a large part of your success. Here’s more about me!

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy staying active through fitness, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and traveling to learn from different cultures. I’m a proud Jersey girl and bring with me a deep appreciation for community and connection. I also have an extensive background in the performing arts and find joy in music and dancing. Whether it’s through reading, moving, or simply sharing interests, I often find that my personal passions help me connect with clients in authentic and meaningful ways.
