How I work

I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My first priority is creating a calm, welcoming environment where we can build trust and get to know one another at a pace that feels comfortable. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients and recognize that they are the experts on their own lives. My role is to offer support, curiosity, and practical tools while helping them build on the strengths they already have.

I take a strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, always striving to meet clients where they are. I understand that our experiences, relationships, families, and environments all shape how we move through the world, and I value taking the time to understand each person’s unique story. Whether someone is navigating grief, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, or a major life transition, I hope to provide a space where they feel safe exploring difficult emotions while building confidence, resilience, and healthy coping skills.

My Education & Trainings

I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at Boston College with a clinical concentration in Children, Youth, and Families. Prior to graduate school, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Highest Honors, from Middlebury College, where I also completed an independent honors thesis exploring grief, emotional support, and coping during the COVID-19 pandemic. My clinical training includes providing individual and group counseling to elementary school students through my internship at Weston Country Elementary School, where I supported children experiencing concerns such as grief, anxiety, ADHD, autism, bullying, parental separation, and emotional regulation challenges. I have over a decade of experience volunteering with Circle Camps for Grieving Children, supporting children and adolescents who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling. Before beginning graduate school, I worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital, where I developed strong relationships with research participants while coordinating clinical trials and contributing to research on health and well-being. Across my clinical, research, and volunteer experiences, I have developed a deep appreciation for the importance of compassionate listening, meaningful connection, and evidence-informed care.

The relationship with your therapist is a large part of your success. Here’s more about me!

Outside of therapy, I love spending time outdoors and find that nature is one of my favorite ways to recharge. You’ll often find me gardening, hiking, or swimming in a lake whenever I get the chance. I also enjoy painting, sewing, and expressing my creativity through fashion. At home, my cat is my constant companion and has perfected the art of supervising everything I do. I value curiosity, creativity, and genuine connection, and I enjoy bringing those same qualities into my work with clients.
