If you know a teen experiencing intense emotions, emotional outbursts, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, impulsive reactions, or difficulty managing stress, you may have heard about Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and wondered if it could help.

Our monthlyDBT Information Session for Caregivers & Providers provides a free, supportive space to learn more about DBT, ask questions, and better understand how these skills can support children and teens.

What We'll Cover

Each session may include information about:

  • What DBT is and how it works

  • Who may benefit from DBT

  • The core DBT skills, including mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness

  • How DBT can help with intense emotions, impulsivity, self-harm, and relationship challenges

  • What DBT looks like in individual or group therapy

  • How parents and caregivers can support DBT skills at home

  • When DBT may or may not be the right fit for your child

A Place to Ask Questions

You don't need to know anything about DBT before attending.

Whether you're just beginning to explore treatment options or your child/client is already participating in DBT, this monthly meeting is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and better understand how DBT can help.

Free. Monthly. Open to any caregiver and provider.
