How I work
As a graduate level intern, I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, and emotional or behavioral challenges. I use an integrative approach to help clients build awareness of their thoughts and behaviors while developing practical tools for growth. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients feels understand and empowered throughout the process. By creating a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust and collaboration, we can work together as a team to make steps toward change.
My Education & Trainings
I am currently pursuing my Master’s of Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Villanova University. Prior to graduate school, I attended Ohio State University where I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and minors in Human Development & Family Sciences and Business. During my undergraduate experience, I worked as a research assistant at Ohio State’s Pediatric and Rehabilitation Lab, exploring various aspects of childhood development and assisting patients and families through data collection. Additionally, I worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician at a center for children with developmental disabilities where I provided tailored support and advocated for each client based on their unique needs.
The relationship with your therapist is a large part of your success. Here’s more about me!
Outside of my work, I love spending time outdoors and staying active - whether it is going for a walk, hiking, or just getting some fresh air. I really enjoy cooking and have started to explore backing and making my own pasta sauces. I’ve also discovered a new love for football and enjoy any excuse to make a game-day snack. I love to read and unwind with a good movie or tv show - Dancing with the Stars is a current favorite. Growing up, I was a figure skater, which taught me a lot about creativity, balance, and perseverance - qualities that I carry with me both personally and professionally!
Working With Me
I offer sessions both virtually and in person at our Jenkintown, PA office. I support our Low Fee Program.
