How I work

My passion is working with adolescents and young adults who have experienced significant trauma and/or loss. I’m also passionate about helping clients navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, and stress. It is extremely important to me that my clients and I build a trusting relationship. I aim to validate their emotions and help them to recognize that they do not have to be defined by negative experiences. Through our work together, I want to support clients in developing greater self-compassion, building skills to move forward in adaptive ways, and improving their overall view of themselves and their lives.

My Education & Trainings

I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at the University of Denver. My studies are primarily trauma-focused. My training has centered around the connection between traumatic experiences and the development of mental health conditions, as well as trauma-informed assessment and intervention. I have also studied approaches to practicing Anti-Oppressive social work. It is extremely important to me that individuals of marginalized communities have access to quality care.

In addition to being a graduate student, I work as a clinical intake specialist. In this role, I assess clients’ areas of need and connect them with appropriate resources. Prior to graduate school, I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. After graduate school, I plan to pursue licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

The relationship with your therapist is a large part of your success. Here’s more about me!

I’m a mom of two! My toddlers get most of my time outside of work and school. I also love spending time with my best friend or talking to her on the phone. I almost always have music on. At my house, it’s common to see singing and dancing. When I just want to relax, I binge watch shows. My guilty pleasures are reality shows and crime documentaries, but I also love a good scripted series. I enjoy learning new things, so you may catch me watching a tutorial as well.

Working With Me

I offer sessions both virtually and out of the Jenkintown, PA office. I am available Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the day and early evenings. I support our Low Fee Program.
